HAPPY NEW YEAR! WELCOME 2012
It's with excitement that we enter the new year. Our party and our riding association continues to grow, and the prospect of electing a new federal and Opposition Leader has given us all a chance to personally get to know several candidtates. The vote for leader is on March 24 in Toronto. Only NDP members will have a vote and I encourage anyone in our riding who is interested in this party's next big steps to obtain one. The cost is only $10 and if you can donate another $10 to the riding association that is much appreciated. That's $20 to take part in and show your support for Canada's official opposition party. It's also the first thing to do if you want the NDP to hear your voice, and your ideas. You can purchase a membership online or send a request directly to the riding president (see CONTACT US and HOW YOU CAN HELP for more details.)

We are Canada's party for small business and the voice for home-grown innovation and keeping quality manufacturing jobs in Canada. We are the party of youth and the one with policies to give young people a reason to participate in society. We're here to build better futures not bigger prisons. We'll fight to protect consumers from high interest charges on credit cards and cell phone contracts and we'll stop pay per use gouging on the internet.
